Located in South Kensington, the cultural heartland of London, 170 Queen’s Gate is the ultimate testament to its surroundings. Designed by Norman Shaw and completed in 1889, the house was commissioned by Frederick Anthony White, a wealthy cement manufacturer with an interest in art and architecture. The building is now home to the Rector of Imperial College London.
170 Queen’s Gate is minutes from Hyde Park, the Royal Albert Hall, the Natural History, Science and Victoria & Albert museums as well as Harrods and High Street Kensington.
